Carl, I take it you work for Renault?

I also have a 225, 172 Turbo (300+bhp) and a 197 on order. How do you find the 197 as I have not driven one yet?

It is very go-karty in it's handling and is good fun. I do find the torque somewhat lacking, which means you really need to rev it hard to get a response.

Personally, I prefer the drive of the 225

Hi Gooby

In Westover rd ??? You mean a pub or just on the road itself ???

All the best Brett

We usually meet on the road outside the pavillion. Check through the lotus forum. There is a meet today (I cant go) but the guys are heading down to devon for a run. The lotus/PH community is very close in Bournemouth!

So am I!!!

We will have to organise a run soon - reclaim the town from the tories! Our typical run is out through poole to Wearham then on to Swanage for a burger then on to a pub for a chat.

thought i'd refrain from saying on my last post that we could do a slow (/quick?!!), noisy parade past the BIC around the 'live on itv/bbc news' time..!...but now...!.. when does the conference end? evil
was aiming to get to harman's cross this morn in tigger but after the rain i decided to play it safe, in the 'other' car,...and then the weather sorted itself out irked ...would've been a blast on the almost clear roads...

Well I'm in central Bournemouth too. Will keep a lookout for the next one, as I used to enjoy the Dorset Dawdles when Bob the Planner organised them

Can't do this sunday as i'm planning on having a hangover, however the 19th sounds good. Anyone up for heading to Virginia Water on the 24th Nov, i've missed the last ones and i'm definately going to this one.

VW's on the 12th
www.pistonheads.com/calendar/default.asp?m=35

...possibly but always looks very parked up on the main road outside on the vids (haven't been) - risky for that 'noisy' escape..! are there any decent alternative routes to the M3 for fun getting there/ coming back? scratchchin

sorry getting my dates mixed up again! the road parking at virginia water lake gets full even on a normal weekend so i'm not too sure where everyone parks, i would hope a few antics are ignored by the bib at a meeting such as this. will have to ask around on the other forums to see where most people usually park up

For the 19th i would suggest heading out shaftsbury way and taking in zig zag hill, other suggestion would be heading the other way down to swanage? What does everyone else think?

VW on the 12th sounds good weather permitting.

As for the 19th, that is far too far in advance A good drive sounds fun but I wont know for a couple of weeks yet if I'll be free.
