Any convertible owners off to this tonight? Assuming that the weather holds out?

Hi Luke,

Won't be at the next one as it's the TVR 60th Anniversary weekend at Rockingham. I would have gone otherwise.

If the weather is good, you really should go. Very easy and enjoyable evening with plenty to look at and loads of people willing to talk about their cars.

If there is one in September I'd hope to be there.

Lee

Zed, From your link it's looking like both the first and fourth friday in August are an option... Apart from your current plan for the fourth Friday, Let me know if you're going to either/both.

What happens down there at these events?

very weather dependant Dave... well, when it's hot, it's very good; when it's wet, i'm not there so i don't know, but i shouldn't think many go. on the hot and dry evenings everything without a roof turns up, atleast it did for the first one... and i didn't sit in the queue to get in (so get down to this event before 5.45 if the weather's real good in august). got in this month with a 2 min wait with Lee (above) and the numbers were just right (about 50) - 1/2 specials and 1/2 everyday cars. hope for good weather and get down early then it may well be all specials/ classics/ supercars/ rareities/etc smile ill pm nearer the time wink
