New Speed Camera - A Heads up!!

There is a newly errected Gatso on the A27 between Sussex University and the Lewes Prison and Kingston Roundabout.

From Brighton to Lewes after you pass the University, go through the treelined downhill straight towards the Texaco Filling Station as you clear the trees its on your right - in the central reservation (I assume they are able to turn it round and get you going the other way) .

It wasn't 'LIVE' when I went through at lunchtime today (had a large builders 1 tonne sack draped over it) and still a few cones etc around.

Remember it's there Guys and Girls and be ready to punch it into your sat nav's/detectors.

Ta for the heads up. I wonder how many accidents there have been on that part of the road that they need to put it by the trees as opposed to the more dangerous parts of the road which are further East imo.

They have put another one up!!

At the bottom of the slip road coming from the University heading East (towards Lewes)

They've now taken both of these out and burnt/removed the markings from the carriageway? Any idea what the BIB are up to?

They have put two in the roadworks north of Hindhead.

Those cameras by Sussex uni were there just while the roadworks were going on by the looks of it. Didn't know HSS hired out Gatso's now
