Well blow me...there's a TVR Chimaera meet at Goodwood at 11am on 20th apparently, well according to this thread anyway: http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0...

Is this a coincidence?

Anywho, I'll probably tag along for a look at the other Chims and some grub - what time at OBN were you thinking of?

Yes there is a Chimaera meet there, according to the tvrcc website.

Do all come along, the more the merrier, I will be there! smile

Curses, would come along but I'll be up north that weekend.

Guess I should say hi, I've just moved down to Portsmouth.

For the Horsham area chaps, Old Barn Nurseries car park 10am, arrive GW for 11...sound like a plan??

No idea of the best route from OBN to GW though.... A24, A27? Or does somebody know a better way (there must be one)?

Easy peasy..You turn off for Billinghurst (Or go down to the roundabout with the Storrington turn off) then head down to Pulborough (AWESOME driving roads round there, especially just passed Fittleworth just South of Pulborough if you take the 2nd route, from there head down to Arundel via the lanes then once you hit Arundel its a lovely quick BLAST down the A27 down to Goodwood which of course is lovely and quick. Nice brisk 10min drive away from Arundel.

We might come up to meet you guys at Old Barn Nurseries for a hoon down, otherwise it's just a 15 min drive down the A27 for us as we're close to Arundel.

What's happening at Goodwood, exactly? I know there's a TVR meeting which we are going to crash(!) but what's the format, and does it involve going to a pub afterwards...??

Are we still going to have a meet, or is this for TVR owners only and we will be lost in the crowd. I know its not the PUB, seem to have lost the thread here abit. Time and place to meet at G/wood?

I think a number of those planning to go arent TVRs (I'm certainly not!), but I am happy to tag along with their meeting at GW as long as we are welcome. I fancy a quick beer afterwards though?

Blast, I'd have been well up for this. I'm already going to a focusstoc.com meet that day. Maybe the next one!

Of course you will be - they'll be loadsa other cars down there even though its a TVR meet - I don't think it'll be that big a TVR meet actually but may be wrong.

Hmmm...unfortunately I don't know the surronding area that well so couldn't point at a pub but surely the food/coffee place inside GW will be up and running.

I also think (but am not sure) the better route is down the A272 to either Petworth or Midhurst and then drop down to GW.

IMHO

Cardiff.

I'm going to miss being close to the brecons and some quality roads.

Hopefully I'll be able to make the next one!
