Sunday pub meet: West Sussex
Discussion
As I write this your probably all still at GW...
I made it as far as 2 miles after Bury hill roundabout before hearing a clanking sound swiftly followed by a complete loss of power. This seemed to rectify itself for a few seconds before doing it again and at that point I had no confidence I would make it both to GW and then home.
So I made a management decision to hi-tail back to Austec in "limping" mode.
Sadly though Austec were shut, locked and barred and I didn't fancy leaving my P&J in that area so we've 'dragged' the car back home and I'll get it trailored-in tomorrow.
Hope you all had a good time, that you ate well and saw some awesome cars and if anyone took any pics please post 'em up.
Until the next time chaps/chapettes

Wondered where you'd got to Ian. Was looking forward to chatting to you about the supercharger. Best of luck and fingers crossed it's only something minor this time!
Keep us informed...
Thanks Paul Keep us informed...
It appears that a part of my exhaust may have come adrift - hopefully just a gasket as my wife found a manifold shaped one on the driveway when I (eventually) got back home. Perhaps we can hook up at a future run...

I DID TURN UP BUT SAW ALL THE TVR.S AND PORSCHES AND OTHER FAST CARS SO ME AND MY BMW TURNED AROUND LOL.
Hope your only joking gareth - the car you have isn't so important at these things - it's the fact that you love cars that matter, I really do hope you didn't turn around cos of the exotica in the car park..christ I didn't even make it to GW - so you could have had a good laugh at my TVR en route. I'm sure I heard Nick sniggering as he passed me whilst I was in the lay-by...Nice to meet up with you guys and I was amazed I didn't get too much of a bashing because I wasn't in a TVR. Some lovely cars out there today and I have to say those Blackpool ( and Detroit?) motors sound great.
BMWlad its not what you drive it's the attitude you drive it with.
Look forward to the next time
