Evening all, looking for recommendations on car storage for three month intervals.

From my google searches the two main ones seem to be in Winchester, Hampshire Classics LTD and Petersfield, Classic Car Storage.

Anyone had dealings with either of these places or any other recommendations? Its needs to be covered, secure, insured and have electric for the trickle charger.

Can't help I'm afraid, but if you need someone to run it, I could do it.

I'm guessing this is the place near Wickham - http://www.storaway.co.uk/ - have used them and found them v satisfactory.

Just after an update.

Have anyone’s views changed on any of the places mentioned or know of any other storage places.

I’m based in Winchester so the closer the better!

Thanks.

I've used this place near Dorchester for vehicle storage during house build of a Lamborghini and Sierra Cosworth. Don't be put off by the general storage nature of the website. The proprietor is a retired ex-works Ford rally driver has loads of his own interesting stuff there such as RS1600, Lotus Fords etc.. His office has other cars of his on display, and lots of trophies etc !

Very secure climate controlled barn with power for chargers. I paid £4/day each car. Also has workshop with two post lift that can be used.

He bought a derelict farm many years ago and turned it into this storage business and other small industrial units.

Can’t find them. Are they the same as Southern Car Storage? Only mobile no on its website and PO Box. scratchchin

Cheers

I can vouch for Petersfield classic cars kept the E type with them , they have several different options available , all secure , covered and fitted with trickle chargers

cheers
