You going to bring the Porker nonegreen? Hogshead has a small-ish carpark, don't know anywhere with a big one. Great pub though

Yeah, I reckon on bringing it with me. Might stay over if its going to be a good drinking session get the driving out of the way by about 9 and then hit the bottle.

Fantastic idea, will come up in the Chim then. Maybe we need a hotel with a decent (safe) car park for the beasts? What say anybody who is also thinking of driving their beasts? Drinking could continue in the hotel into the morning at this rate!

Lois, maybe you could recommend some hotels with car parks and a decent location?

Right...in walking distane is the Holiday Inn that looks quite nice, often seen the chef's cooking through the windows!

Will have a look around for some a little further out if you want but you'd probably need a taxi!

Holiday inn is fine Lois, now answer honestly, are our cars going to be in one piece the following day? If you are not sure do us a big favour and ask the hotel if they have 24 hr video on the car park

The Holiday Inn Preston is a modern hotel located in the city centre and an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area including Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Lytham St Annes and the Camelot Adventure Theme Park at Charnock Richard. All 129 bedrooms, including 46 executive rooms and 1 mini suite, offer comfortable surroundings. Facilities at the hotel include a recently refurbished restaurant, bar and lounge providing an informal setting that is perfect for relaxing after a busy day sightseeing. The hotel is within walking distance of the high street shops, bars and clubs.

Said it had free parking! lol! Not sure if it is CCTV or anything but I can find out if you like. Can't see anything happening there though.

Just had a reply about car parking

holiday inn said:
In response to your query, the Holiday Inn Preston does not have any CCTV of the car park, we have never had any problems with cars on the car park.

We do have limited on-site parking with up to 30 spaces, however if we have no spaces on site, guests can be issued with a car parking pass for the Multi-storey car park next door. The Multi-storey has full 24 CCTV and a security team that does full patrols of the car park.

Quite a big hotel and when my mum used it she was put on the big car park with CCTV etc
