Anyone fancy giving me a lift?
I'm @ J23 of the M60 (Ash - u - Lyne) or will travel to anywhere east side of Manc. No way I'm turning up in the 'blue embarrassment'
I know where you live!!!
If I do not go to Ely this weekend I may be able to take you!
That is of course if you are not too embarrassed to be seen out with me
Anne
Who is this 'Anne' person ?
And why am I corresponding with my sister (who lives within shouting distance) over PH?
I may have to wear dark glasses and pretend to be 'undercover elephant'!
Further to my previous post indicating an affermative to the meeting described. It has since transpired that I am now a negative to same described meeting. Apparently an "emergency" fire surround situation has arised this Sunday at my abode.
(I won't be able to make it now, however, we have had shift changes at work and I should be OK now for any evening meetings !!)

Not so much wimping out, it's looking like I have to work another Sunday due to absence, 10:30-4:00, then be home asap for in-laws coming to dinner.
I'd rather be with you lot than sitting in a conservatory show site at a garden centre on what looks to be a wet and windy sunday with a handheld TV a flask of tea and a Sunday Times. I hate it, its the pits, thats what we employ the 'mature sales girls' for, but one is off sick.
