Today, Roadsweeper, you met an old man in a Merc (possibly silver S class of the bombproof engineering variety, not the latest mk) whom was returning to said car as you came into the car park looking for a space....

I am saddened and deeply hurt to hear, when questioned, that you did not know of me when we have met and spoken couple of times at The Trafford Centre/Romper.

Anyway, would just like to say hello and tell you to turn up to more Romper days so I can refresh yer memory

Glad to hear you had the top off this afternoon Would have been doing the same if I could have got out of work on time (1pm) but some old fool rang me up to tell me he had seen somebody in a TVR today, and I felt I should exploit company's resources to start a thread

Hi Richard

I did indeed meet your dad (seemed a very nice chap!) and when he told me his son was a TVR driver I asked if he went on PistonHeads. He didn't know, but told me your name, and you're right, I wasn't sure if we'd met. However, if he had said, "ricardinho" I would have known who he meant - I remember discussing Chimaeras with you in the Trafford Centre Car Park - ah, the joys of PH.

Sadly the Chimaera has now been sold to PHer CrazyLegs and I do believe he is planning on attending the Romper meets soon. Hopefully I will be able to tag along as a passenger, or at worst I'll turn up in the BMW.

Take care and with a bit of luck I can buy you a drink at the Christmas night out to tend your 'not remembered' wound.

Gad zooks he's alive!!!

The wound is now gaping, it'll take at least 4 pints Landlord bitter to heal it

I hadn't told my dad what my name was, but he knows now. Good job he doesn't know how to operate t'internet.

Yes I have seen you've sold the beloved. Any chance of you returning to the fold in the future?

Would be good to meet at the Christmas do (are you aware of the night out in Manchester this Friday night?) or next Romper do, Roadie.

Richard
