Two unusual spots in a matter of minutes at Trafford Centre about 1230 yesterday - a maroon K-reg Renault 12, then a Rover P6.

Spotted a light blue MK1 Escort (at least it looked like one from the rear) heading past The Mount in Orrell yesterday afternoon.

Spots today:

Silver Jaguar XJ6 spotted heading along Preston Rd towards Chorley.
Spotted a Caterham on Central Park Way in Wigan around 3.30pm heading towards Standish. Colour was black with the front/nose being yellow, hood was up too, not surprising considering the bitter cold.

Followed this from Shevington to Standish yesterday. Very tidy looking car, sounded good and set off sharpish.

Caught a fleeting glimpse of a dark grey-ish or black-ish Caterham type car heading along Old Rd and turning onto Lowbank Rd towards Garswood in Ashton-in-Makerfield this afternoon.

I see a little red Kia on the way to work regularly, near Burtonwood.

Nothing unusual?

Other than that it's a K reg Kia Pride (remember them??!) and has a nice set of wheels on it, driven by a young-ish looking chap who clearly spends a lot of time and effort on it. Fair play to him. Can't imagine parts are easy to come by.

Will get a pic when i see it again.

I'm based in the Wigan area. I don't seem to spot anything further afield, for some odd reason, certainly nothing of my interest anyway.

Yesterday spotted (albeit from a distance) two Jaguar F Type coupes, one black parked up at a business (no idea of name) in Goose Green, Wigan. The second, in a colour I've never an F Type in before - in the flesh that is, which was Ultra Blue, parked up near the old Goose Green Labour Club on Little Lane around 11am-ish. Never been that fussed on that particular blue, but looked quite nice in the flesh. There's been a few F-Types I've seen around the Wigan area of late, oddly though they always seem to be coupes rather than convertibles; I recalled seeing a red coupe heading over the 7 stars bridge a few weeks ago.

Also spotted a greyish TVR Cerbera (had a roof or hardtop on so I presume it wasn't a Chimaera), heading through Saddle Junction, Wigan past ASDA. Driving like an idiot from what I could see.

I noticed that Lambo last week near MOSI, what a waste to keep driving it in bursts around city streets.

That Lambo pulled into the petrol station next to my flat, filled up then I spotted it again doing laps along Deansgate while I was having coffee with my parents.

What a throbber.

black recent mclaren doing the manchester city centre circuit on saturday night too. Is it just non-drinkers or have people spent so much money on the car that they can't afford to socialise?

Contrary to popular belief, modern supercars do not run on V-Power, they run on attention.

hehe

Wasn't Deansgate shifted to a 20 limit to stop this sort of thing? You'd think the police would stand along it somewhere just collecting revenue easily.
