Hi,

Any recommendations for really good careful tyre fitters in the NW.
The rims are irreplaceable and need looking after.
Ideally looking for a touchless tyre changer within an hours drive of mid-Cheshire.

Thanks.....Mike

Tyre Care in St. Helens are good, I have also used Pauls Tyres in Formby. Both good independants. Pauls used a plastic cover for the socket and a tourque wrench... no metal on alloy windy guns! That maybe common practice in some other places, these are two from my own experience that I use.

Another nod for Paul's tyres in Formby.

Paul has fitted tyres to both fresh refurbished rims for my TVR and Ferrari, Ferrari rims are magnesium and cost a small fortune for refurbishment, all Paul said is they DONT damage wheels, he's right. Great guy, with great staff.

He also does all my daily stuff.

Chris.

Finally had two rears fitted.

I used Mill Lane Garage in Kingsley as they've just had a Corghi contactless machine fitted and took a lot of care.
