I have an alloy wheel in need of some repair and refurbishment, and so was going to take it to the place I usually use - WRC in Bamber Bridge. Unfortunately, it seems they have recently closed down.

Can anyone recommend any nearby alternatives? I'm going to be needing some general repainting/refinishing in future, but more immediately I need somewhere that can repair a small crack in an AMG wheel rim.

I found a place in Chorley, called Wheelrite, that has a couple of good reviews on Google and seems well regarded on other forums - anyone else used them?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the suggestion, and sorry for not replying sooner, I was at CarFest.

The wheel to be repaired is on my Father's car - whilst I was away, he took it to Wheelrite in Chorley. I'll provide an update in due course, but thanks anyway for the help!

Probably bit late now but apparently a company called Rhino Wheels off the Tarleton to Southport rd after Tarleton lights is good place but busy.
Never used them but someone on here may have ??!!

Thanks for the input, guys!

Wheelrite did a good job on welding the cracked alloy but weren't asked to refinish it, so I can't say anything about how their refurbishments ultimately look. However I can say they did my job properly, on time, and for a good price.

Funny you mention Rhino, the guy who looks after my cars and previously used WRC said he is looking into them to use instead.

Will let you know how that pans out, as my Evora wheels will need refinishing soon.

A mate of mine uses Rhino in Tarleton, they did a great job on his BMW diamond cut alloys.
