Ormskirk Motorfest 27th August 2017 (Lancashire)

Went over to the Motorfest this morning and was nice to see some classics which haven't attended previously amongst the regular attendees. The crowd puller seemed to be the yellow Ferrari California Spyder 250 GT, which I presume was an original. Anyone know why it wasn't included in the official entry list?.
I noticed the primrose FHC series 1 E-Type that has been at the event numerous times, which seems to have its reg number changed a lot; in 2015 it beard the number SLR, yet last year (presumably the same car unless there was an identical looking car) it had a different number, but today it was back to its original number. Anyone know what that's all about with swapping numbers back and forth?.
