Gents,

Looking at indoor car storage options in my local area and options are limited to say the least!

Think i could cover oh's getting an industrial unit and offering it out at £200/250 per space per month with someone on the door between 9-5 7days... Secure 24/7 cctv.

Would there be any interest?
How does this compare with any storage you guys use?

Cheers,
Tom

Would tenants have access outside of 9-5? I'm just thinking that anyone with an office-hours job who wants to keep a weekend toy in there would probably struggle if they can only access it when you have someone on the door, and if they can get in at other times, that has to reduce security?

This is where the issue lies really, to cover nights with security is very expensive and makes it totally unviable for a 10/20 car building.

I think if we went 9am - 10pm maybe earlier finish on Sunday’s could make it work.

What would your thoughts be? Do you think this would be a popular option for people with limited garage space at £250pm?

Thanks,
Tom

Where are you based? I have a couple of my cars in a car storage place that is super secure and really good value called Driven Car Storage - they're in Lancashire. It's dehumidified, electric in each bay for trickle charging and 24/7 access...

That looks pretty good! I’m in Bolton so not too bad.

I’ll check them out, thanks!

In all honesty it sounds expensive to me, but then I'm not sure how that compares to other car storage companies. It's a lot of money for the space, so it's just down to how people value the rest of the service you're providing, the security and so on.
