I'm new to the Pistonheads site and want to know what events/blats/shows/meets etc happen up this end of the country.
I'm based in Prescot where I'm just finishing bolting my Westfield back together (along with a freshly built 230+bhp VX XE engine)

Just been looking at the Virginia Waters meet photos...soooo many great motors....Is it that good up here?

Maybe not quite as big as that...

...That's in Manchester. Only a few hard core people have been going over winter though! Great laugh plus tunnels

If theres another one of these runs than I'm coming with some decent equipment, and I'm going to do a bit of filming for you all - including decent pictures and audio through the tunnels.

I'll need to sit in someone's car though, my 3.0 diesel isn't exactly good enough to keep up with you lot

Maybe.....

My Escort Cossie was pretty loud with the Anti lag on (not strcitly road legal, but loud in a shotgun type of way) Sadly it went to a new home to make room for the M400.

Hey, that's in my neck of the woods.
When's the next one arranged for then?

Where do I look to find out?...Guess I could just do some digging and find out...!

my beautiful Ginetta! oh how I miss her...when it was dry and warm, bloody hated it when it rained or was cold, or when I had to park it anywhere...etc etc

still, the pining for antisocially loud exhaust notes and drop top mainly sideways motoring has spurred me in to action...so i've just arranged to buy an acceptable mode of transport and i'll be picking it up in due course!

and i'm pleased to say that it'll be very as loud, if not even louder than the old sheffield supercar!

i'm so happy I could go and kill a chav
