I understand that Cheshire Council charge the parking fees for some of the upkeep. It is one venue where even NT membership doesn't entitle you to f.o.c. parking. People who paid £4 to park who ain't members of the National Trust still have to pay to get into the Garden plus extra for house and japanese garden.

But as for the £6 per head adult charge for the car show - and a reduced child charge, I noticed( but no 'Family' inclusive fee ?) - I wonder, who gets this fee? The Clubs, with the total divided? The Park i.e. the Tatton estate? or the Council?

In any event, I propose a revised pricing structure for next year. Should be Per car inc. entrance to the car show at £10.

Had a great day out, luckily the nice weather held , nice to meet up with Les (and his Morgan +8), one of the highlights was the 3pm TVR "rev up", plenty of interesting traders selling tools etc, overall very worthwhile.....recommended.

glad you liked it! TBH the first pic i posted up of it in the gassing section was a bit pants and most prob gave the wrong impression as it had the chav one in the background, it was taken at stanford hall last year with the other club motors, im gonna take note in future to be careful where i park up (piccy wise!) Thankyou for the kind comment

Great show. In fact, probably the best day I have had at Tatton since I started going around 5 years ago.

Sincere thanks to all those who organised the TVR stand notably: Paul, Janette, John M, Ian, Lorraine, Russel, Denise, Dave, Gayle plus the West Lancs crew. Absolutely fabulous display of 57 TVRs with wonderful weather and a well behaved crowd. Really glad I went. Well done all and apologies to anyone else who was involved in the organisation and hosting for the TVRCC who I have not mentioned above.

Cheers Emm it was interesting to see the spec of your Seicento at Tatton, I have the same engine in my mk1 punto 60S. Although at the moment it is restricted to short trips only!! It’s overheating all the time...hopefully it’s the thermostat or something simple and not the head gasket. That turbo conversion looks very interesting. What exactly do you get with the Van Aaken (sp?) kit if you don’t mind me asking?.....I remember looking at your spec sheet at Tatton and there’s no way I could remember all that!!

Do you know the bloke with the black Fiat Strada Abarth that was near you on the Italian section at Tatton? I came up behind him on Sunday only a few hundred metres after leaving home (Warrington ish), followed him for a while then overtook on the motorway. I was driving a red 06 golf gti. You don't see many Strada's about!
