Yeah, it has to be the same car we've seen. Just looking around online, the last "official" classic shape was 2003 so maybe some other company has the building rights now? Thinking about it, I've got an idea the badge wasn't a normal VW one but I can't remember now. It's been parked in the same place every time I've seen it so I'll look next time I see it.

followed a Citroen 2CV round the M60 (anticlock wise) from Stockport...

the very fact it accellerated upto 80leptons, uphill kinda marked it out as something a bit special

and yes that was under its own power!

There was a company in Accrington in 1987 who were uprating them with another engine.......I cant for the life of me remember which one sorry, but it was truly awesome!

Was there some kind of meet going on at Cheshire Oaks Porsche today? There were loads of cars parked outside, and a lovely white 997 GT3 turning up, then later I passed a Boxster with the plate D14BOL.

Also saw a new M3 convertible being "used". One second I was following it round a roundabout, the next it was a speck in the distance! Really impressive.
