Did there not used to be a meet by the pub at the end of the M65?? May have been a lotus/vx220 thing though.

There's been a NW meet on the last Thursday of the month at the Wheatsheaf just off the Rainford by-pass (see link below) a few minutes from the M58. It gets a good crowd & a good variety of machines. The last meet was back in September, due to the long nights now, but will probably be started up again in the Spring. Kirsty usually organises a good route for us and, IMHO, it would be a shame to either move away from there or to start a different one as it attracts quite a few people from all over and isn't that far to get to, half an hour tops from Leyland. Just my 2p worth

I went to a meet at the Boatyard pub just outside Blackburn a few months ago.
That is a nice spot with a decent carpark and only 1 minute away from junction 3 of the M65.

if there's enough interest the Boatyard may make a good mid month (say) meet in conjunction with the end of month Wheatsheaf meet.
