I have a photoshoot with a 360 Challenge Stradale in a few weeks time, and i am wanting some location ideas within west Yorkshire, preferably industrial or urban, but i could also see if he is willing to do some countryside shots too, so if anyone has any ideas, feel free to tell me them as i can't think of many industrial places around

Thorpe Park in Colton might be worth a visit for you - I got some snaps of my car there a while back, and I plan to go back.

The interwesting thing is the colour - its a modern style office park and theres a few of the buildings that are externally lit with different colours etc, so theres all the ducting, ladders, glass etc in different colours. There a bit spaced out so it would require some clever composition, but with the right car and the right light (quite dark, probably) you might get some good results.

Just off J46 M1.

Thanks for that, i'll have to check it out, the car as previously mentioned is a 360 CS, in red, with the stripe and everything, so, hopefully i'll be able to get some good results

You could try up on Baildon Moor for countryside.

As for light industrial, Leeds city centre south/Hunslet will probably be your best bet.

Try here.

Quite busy until 5pm weekdays, but the weekends make it seem like a ghost town.
Has a great coffe shop and some of the buildings are great for photographs.

Follifoot. There is an entrance to the big house at the top of the village. Its a very popular spot for people taking photos. Not industrial I know but countryish.

Power stations at drax and eggborough
Ask security first though as it can spark an alert!

The O2 office near the White Rose Centre in Leeds makes quite a nice backdrop - the office across from there has a "bridge" with red lights that come on at night also works quite well. I've only taken "snaps" there in the past but felt it had potential and security didn't chase me out.

And one of my snaps:

Thanks, and yeah, its opposite the Hepworth, we also went to the Meadowhall, http://www.flickr.com/photos/t-norton/5852175788/i... ending up with that shot, I will probably post more when I finish editing and the owner has them

I'll bear that in mind for any potential future shoots, I looked at the O2 building on Google Maps, but the security concerned me slightly, as they probably wouldn't allow us near the mirrored wall

For night shoots the rooftop car park above bibis in Leeds is pretty good as Bridgewater Place is lit up in colours behind it
