Having done the Yorks to Midlands commute for a couple of years I don't fancy being around Birmingham/Coventry at 4pm on a Friday.

We're planning to "tootle" through the Peak District and be in Derby around lunchtime to meet up with The Fishes. So we won't be joining the convoy unless you fancy an earlier start.

Any attempted speed above this (on motorway - afternoon)is just a false economy - may save 5 mins but likelihood of getting nicked outways the benefits
IMHO

Despite the tongue in cheek comments, have to say I agree.

The reality is that you'll be lucky to get over 65 to 70mph on a Friday afternoon. Once you get nearer to Birmingham I think 50mph will be more like it.

We'll keep an eye out for what the concensus of opinion is and where the meeting points are and we'd love to join in.
We may be in one or two cars, it depends on whether we have 2 worthy cars, whether one or the other of them is working or not, and how much AA cover I can afford

WH (Rocket propelled red bar of soap)
PPS (dodgy english mota, lots of trouble usually serious)

I'll fit in with your plans if that's ok Jo/Adam/Lisa/James... do we still need a Welcome mat for the picket gate?

Are you planning to leave the Chim at home?

Am a sensible boy now regards speeding Mrs '110mph on the way to BTaP' Chim girl. I'd watch it if I were you, it seems the Police are after you in the form of Gemini....take it steady or he'll bust your ass! Oh dear, writing that last sentence took me back to the specialist interest pictures you posted a while back
