Cars in the Park Convoy
Discussion
Martyn - At least you were not the only one not to make it to cars in the park, although I did get a bit further than you.
For those of you who wondered why I stopped at we turned off the A1 into Kirk Deighton, it was because I had no clutch separation. Pedal to the floor - Nothing, neit, nada. I suppose I could have continued and crashed the box but I didn't want to knacker that as well.
20 minute wait for the first AA man and then over 2 hours for the second, however the car is now sat at the flat for me to fix. Looks like the Tuscan will have to go to PistonFest again this year - last time the Chim failed on the drive on the morning of the drive up. Will Chim ever make it to PF ?

Oh no another sad sack ! We not so sad and not a sack. Very happy cos I just got a TVR Tuscan (now Ive lost my TVR Virginity). I have had it 2 weeks and just cant get the grin off my face.
Anyway, back to the point. I was thinking of Tagging along to this PF on Sunday (if i am not working). The only problem is i am still running the Trevor in (just had an engine rebuild)so I am sticking below the 4000rpm mark. Will I be able to keep up? or is that a silly question (probably).
I am near Hull, so could pick up the Leeds peeps somewhere along the line. but if I have to work, I wouldnt mind playing out with some fellow Yorkshire Folk.

Most of us are going down on the Friday... it's a bit like a Glastonbury for Petrolheads you see
Whereabouts 'near' Hull are you? East, West or North, as I'm not so far away and there's a fair few Yorkshire drivers that get out fairly frequently, not restricted to summer either.

Bad news about the cars Martyn & Bob.
MOD, just tell 'em to get it sorted by Thursday or they will have to supply something equal or faster... mention things like biggest motor event of the year (ish) and "reputation" and "power of the web" and so on... might work?
All these probs with new cars makes me think twice about changing the Griff.... mind you, Vicki is now aware of pending Ferrari

I am East of Hull, getting out with other Drivers sounds good. Count me in.
