Other halfs away, so its either getting drunk or going for a drive.

Any time from 3pm onwards suits me.

Could be, but won't be able to confirm until Friday. Where are you thinking of going?

Feck knows ?

Hadn't really though that much, just realised I was doing nothing.

I suppose Ilkley, Skipton, etc, would seem obvious choice, but open to suggestions.

They would be ideal places for me and I guess not too bad for Chim450 to get to from t'other side 'o' hills!

I might be up for a drive, depending how far you are heading.

As said before, not really thought too much about where to go although looking at who's has expressed interest it would seem sensible to meet up near airport somewhere (maybe the pub at Pool Bank - don't know name) and them head out towards Ilkley/Skipton.

Grab a bite to eat somewhere maybe ?

Any suggestions more than welcome.

How about meet at 'The Hunters' on the Pool - Harrogate road about a mile from Pool, then round the twisties to grab a bite at 'The Sun Inn' above Fewston or the 'Hopper Lane' at Blubberhouses. Then blast along the A59 to Skipton and back via Addingham and Ilkley.

That's a similar route to the route we did last Wednesday, went over to Bolton Abbey for a quick stop at the Devonshire for a drink before heading back to the Sun Inn. It may be worth noting that the Sun Inn stops serving food at 9pm (prompt!). We didn't know, as a result (most of us) ended up with Fish & Chips at Murgatroyds!!

Hmm, how about Nidderdale then, straight past the Sun Inn and the Golf Balls, and over that nice foody pub at Darley Dale, 'The Wellington' . They serve food to 9.30pm. Owned by one of the Booth brothers, who did 'The Junction' at Otley in the '70's. Nice too.
Or if we get going early, we could do the moors over to Greenhow and round via Pately Bridge to Darley Dale.
