Fish reminds me of my brother, then. Alwys trying to rationalize why the car he enthused about getting barely a year ago needs to be swapped. I bet if he resisted the itch for something new every now and then, he could have ran a Ferrari now...

You would be correct, but he doesn't like dancing donkeys

Fish gets bored very easily, he just loves new cars

Err, let me rephrase that - my brother would be near Ferrari territory instrad of his current '99 528i touring if he kept his private cars (he's also got a company steed) for like 4-5 years instead of one year and a bit.
As for the two of you - at the present 'burn rate' you might have had a word with flemke (sp?), in turn allowing him to move on to... er.... ah, forget it

On that note, I shall now potter off to the land of donkeys... but I shall keep popping in now and again, as I know a certain little internet bar overlooking a certain Burriana Beach

Not changing, just adding. As there's still no affordable (for me) TVR for reliable commuting it will be a Vauxhall VX220 turbo next.

Our next car is going to be an Elise 111R, the Tiv has to go

Has James tried it in the wet, yet? (so to speak...)

The handling might be a bit twitchy and unpredictable, etc. but the real problem is that b*st*rd door sill... whatever you're wearing will be soaked & covered in mud before you're halfway in/out. I had to change half of my wardrobe to black for the 18 months I had the Elise.

Think it'll be a Marcos TSO for me next, if someone can make the interior prettier. Or possibly a Ronart Lightning if one ever comes up for sale. Or maybe even something sensible! Can't be doing with any more engine woes... but the Tuscan has to stay till next summer to make up for the cost per mile so far (just look at my profile )
