I was bowled over by the offer from Mark and the team at Malton. Rung them to say thanks and had a good chat with them. Yesterday i could have sold the damn thing, especially as on the way home its developed a lound banging noise coming from a rear wheel. For those who like the V6 it will be there in April, with a few changes and another detail. Not going to let a mindless idiot ruin other peoples enjoyment, and for the record i'd like to make it known i have been going to Malton for 3yrs (actually first meet i took V6 too) and nothing has ever happened like this.
excellent biggrin

It was then followed by a message from her saying she really liked my car really and it was a joke. Then a message from her mate saying she's a bit upset and can I be friends with her again. To late now though smile

We're appalled to hear that happened at our event.

As you'll know we have a state of the art bodyshop here at Specialist Cars of Malton, if you would like to give us a call (01653 697722) we'll get the car in and sorted, at our expense.

I hope it won't put you, or anyone else, off coming to our future events as I am sure it is an isolated occurrence.

Mark, Sales Manager, Specialist Cars of Malton.
Mark

That is a brilliant offer .well done to you and your team

Another brilliant turnout, big thanks to Specialist cars. Did anyone snap any pics of my black RX7?

As an aside, does anyone know the chap with the blue ZR1? Would be interested in photographing his car for my portfolio and didn't get chance to slap a business card on his windscreen before he left.
Pm sent smile

I was parked opposite the Renault (in a very mundane Yeti ) and saw very few people walking down that road at all. Few went further than the Ford GT and am amazed that somebody did this - and why to a Renault ? Lovely car and all that but if some idiot wanted to key a car to make some moronic point why not a Porsche or Lambo etc ? I enjoyed the event(which I normally go to in my Seven ) but there was a little bit of just plain stupid driving - not very smart making a wheelspin start between two parked rows of cars with kids wandering round. No names... Some good sounds- and - am I really saying this ? - very little sounded better than an Audi RS4 which was deliciously naughty, and far better than the loud but godawful sounding Gallardo (I know they sound great at high revs but at lower ones they sound bloody awful).

Best sound for me were the silver 996 GT3 and the 3 964's that left at the same time
Anyone agree?

Sorry, but I dont agree with your comments regarding the Gallardo.
Its obviously very very loud on cold start, which you heard when i left.
I've certainly never heard it called awful before?? The RS4 sounded nice I must say, just a shame the driver was driving around the industrial estate like an idiot, with small children and pushchairs nearby.

My hand held dyson sounds better than a noble. The gallardo however sounds a little better.
