ah, to be fair, Stin did give you a nice wink after his comment, so he isn't too peed off.

Stin - I think you will be pushing it to find many "normal" people prepared to let someone else drive their pride and joy without them being at least sat in the car, and seeing as you'll have only been married about 30 minutes, i guess letting her sit on my knee in the passenger seat won't be an option ... so looks like hiring will be the only real option I'm afraid

Bryan - yes, yellow with a black equine on the front... or red if I can't find a yellow, which are rarer than a rare thing on a particulary rare day!

Are you saying I'm not normal!? Assuming the insurance was in place and the potential driver isn't a complete loon then I'd let someone I know drive my car. Handing the keys to a complete stranger would be a no-no.

Apologies if my earlier post sounded sharp, it was intended as friendly banter. I'll edit to add a

The most likely winner will be a Tamora, in an ideal world one with an RR spec would be perfect!

Jo/Adam - you know it makes sense!! However, given that to my reckoning, chasing Rob on our way to Bolton Abbey, the real world advantage of RRspec isn't that great (but I could be wrong...)

I reckon a better bet for peace of mind, and obviously driveability, would be blueprinting a standard 3.6 - that's what I intend to do when i can afford it - (but we're getting married next year, so selfish expense like that may have to wait!)

I can give you a lift to the church in a bright yellow 348 Spider if that's any help... and if it's not p!ssing down! ... and it doesn't clash with EuroHoon!

Maybe I'm being uncharitable & I personally always try to help if I can, but I do often get amazed by people who have been here on ph for a short time coming in & essentially asking to borrow a £25000+ car over the internet and then often getting a little bit shirty when they get no joy.

Maybe its just me. Good luck for the wedding.
