What about somewhere up Snake Pass? Great driving roads and a few places to pull up for photo's? Just an idea. Im only in a Focus so ill park with the rest of no luxurious metal
Off the top of my head I can't think of anywhere on that road which would comfortably & safely fit a few cars in at different angles for a photo shoot? were you thinking of any specific parts? probedb said:
What sort of angle are the slopes? My car isn't super low but I've never changed it in a multi-storey.
That's a good point, hadn't thought of that. Next time I'm going past in the evening I'll have a look how busy the ground floor is. pah250 said:

Top of burbage (ringinglow road) there is a pretty sweet car park with view down the valley looking onto Fox House. I'd go there especially as the roads are amazing if you can avoid the sheep.
If you can get a good enough camera and the right angle that would be an awesome photo.
I was thinking about this myself, the main problem is other cars about and traffic reallyIf you can get a good enough camera and the right angle that would be an awesome photo.

It does get quite busy in those car parks too. You'd have to go at the end of the day or very early in the morning.Plus there isn't that much traffic. It only takes a couple of seconds to actually take the shot.
Plus if it's early in the morning / late at night wouldn't that be perfect driving conditions as you wouldn't get anything on the roads.
There is around Redmires reservoir?

No traffic really as it's a dead end so can park the cars across the end of the road all we like to get the right shots, nice view over the water etc....
Not sure what the roads are like up there (I know the road there is pretty horrific pot hole wise actually lol) but it's close to burbage so must be decent roads up there.
Burbage is a good shout but it is a bit too busy there will always be other cars there. Plus the car park angle means you'd just be looking up at the sky rather than down the valley?

Also just looked at your link lewis. I've been there and the roads are TERRIBLE! i went in my Civic and thought i'd break an alloy. Really not suitable for low profile cars, etc. Plus you can't get a great view because there is a wall all the way around the lake.
Eh? It's a thin metal fence not a wall. the roads are bad but you just have to go appropriate speed, it's fine & once at the reservoir the roads are smooth as as can be seen in the street view.lewisf182 said:

Guys for photo shoot why not the car park on the right just before Surprise corner on the way to Hathersage.

Road maintenance doesn't get any better does it. Our farm roads are better than your city streets.
