Sorry didn't have time to put a nicely edited video together. But judging from the comments on here, you should all like the music!
Great clip. http://www.raywell.co.uk/yorkshire-big-breakfast-2...

Accompanied by some full on banging tunes as well.
I didn't realise the car park second on the left as you drive in (I think) had been commandeered. Saw a neat row of cars parked diagonally across a bunch of spaces. Then what looked like Mk1 Escort blocking the car park entrance.
Anyway, great day, cheers to John, Mark and all the staff at SCOM.

Very good, a Phantom by the looks of it? Brilliant bit of kit, must have taken that before/after I arrived/left though as I'd like to think I'd have noticed the noise
Thanks for all the compliments guys. My first time flying it over such a large crowd, was a bit sweaty palmed! It was indeed a DJI Phantom 2, with H2-3D Gimbal and FPV setup.

if you know, in the bottom of your heart, that most people don't like ... the fact it sets off alarms within a 500 yard radius.
About time you upgraded to a car that makes a decent noise then. Having said that, being able to wake Louise from a deep slumber I don't think your car would have much problem with the odd alarm or two As for the event, as Mark says, it was always set up as an informal event. This is the first one I have missed since it started and yes, it has attracted a lot of people that were not the original target audience, but look at the way PH itself has changed since Ted sold it.
Personally, I don't go to look around the car parks particularly, I go for the 6am run out before hand and, to see John, Mark and a lot of other friends that I only see a few times a year. I had the children for this one and, much as they like cars, I don't think it is their first choice of Sunday activity

At a stretch I can even abide VW's lowered to the floor with fuzzy dice on their tow hook but this spoiled the morning for me personally, usually I have a good walk around but I just avoided that end of the estate because of this.Only let down was these fking mongs parking next to my Integra and playing who can play the worst song the loudest

It should be an inclusive event and luckily you have a choice to not stand staring at cars you don't like, but you couldn't get away from that.... 'music'? down that end.
Sadly many a decent meeting/cruise in has been shut down once the "barrys" turn up. Many other types of modified cars are shunned by the American car, hot-rod and Kustom scene, not because they don’t “fit” (well there will be some prejudice there) but because of incidents in the past when for instance the Lax Shower scene started to kick off and you started getting more and more random modified cars turning up. Now this in its self was not the problem; the problem was the "barrys" and the hangars on who turn up in sheds with stereo's and do the aforementioned McDonalds trays under the rear wheels, wheel spinning out of car parks etc. The police acting on these complaints shut cruises down. Some like Leeds cruise re-started years later others are gone forever. This means there is quite a lot of resentment and fear of things being shut down again so they get shunned.
I haven’t been to the Malton meet for a couple of years as it clashes with events on the drag race calendar (it was not my Mustang that crashed at Malton) and my experience from the previous meetings I have been too has been a great atmosphere, loads of great cars of various types to look at and admire. It would be a shame to lose this event because of “barrys” and their hangars on and people generally behaving like idiots. Unfortunately once something like this gains national coverage the dregs will find their way there!
