I phoned Jo early this afternoon to see if you needed parts picked up while I was at homebase but you had just been removed from her driveway!!!

She said she was out cleaning up all the petrol and oil stains so her neighbours wouldn't complain. joking

I also found my spare fuse today... problem was that I was storing it in the Punto. Guess thats why I couldn't find it yesterday.

Just realised it may appear that we're ignoring Neil's accident as we haven't responded to his post. Probably worth saying that we spoke to him lastnight, he's okay but it sounds as though T-cut won't sort out the damage.

So -

100 yds out on the road the convoy grinds to its first halt

Tom SECOND GEAR!

Away we go after a few shuves! and thanks for the stranger mini driver stopping

Then we have to give one of the Beemer drivers a jolt! Bloody Germans!

(I was paid well by a certain Scot to say that)

Luckily there were two skilled mechanics walking by who made all the difference

So at the end a great drive out the party began

Bobbles was told that he couldnt play with the other boys and girls, and was forced to sit in the sin bin

A good do
More required
Thanks to all involved (thats not AL! )

Fairweather driver........

DAZ

With all due respect Squadron Leader Sir may I suggest you "go bollox"! .... Sir.

Blame Non-flying officer Hetherington

What he should have done was leave Kent at 6am, been at my house with his mate Phil three hours later, had breakfast, we could have then all gone over to Chim Girl's, done the drive, spent a couple of hours in the pub, then back home to my local... sorted.

Instead, they set off at noon (I now realise this is because they have quite a severe aversion to mornings!) - wonder why it takes 7.5 hours, I miss the run (however the drive is lovely and clean now!), they are too car'd out to go over to Jo & Adam's, so we end up trying to find a) a taxi in Goole and b) anything to eat in Goole ... both, seemingly impossible tasks.... however, the two suthern boys done well on the Goole bird front! !

And now the BMs drivers wiper has packed in!!!! What's that all about

Had a bit of an off. I lost the back end braking hard to avoid the car in front of me which was braking hard to avoid a car that had skidded in front of him. The car ended up facing the wrong way on the otherside of the road, fortunately nothing was coming the other way. Ripped off the front grill, radiator seems undamaged and chassis looks ok. Lucky escape by all accounts, car going into body shop on Friday.

Yes I was in Bury last week doing last minute shopping having just got back from The Maldives , I am feeling a bit lucky at the moment.
