Sorry.... Ferrari won.

A TVR/BMW combo came second I believe and Joolz came 3rd.

Emley and myself had an understeering pig of a kart and got unfairly penalised for speeding in the pit lane. Ended up in 5th I think.

I'd seriously consider a change of venue for the event actually, the karts at leeds are so variable it's not even funny

once again my kart broke twice (it's not me doing it honest!!) with some saftey cut out switch falling off the engine meaning nothing more than a walking pace with one arm in the air for the best part of a lap to get to the pits to fix it.

The kart was so slow towards the end that I was just waving everyone past and getting punted up the rear regularly. Those gas powered things really are a pile of sh1te.

Still the first 40 mins were fab

big thanks to Nigel too

My fault entirely,
I could not find the pit lane speed-limiter button on the steering wheel.
We were docked at least a minute.
Nobody was checking the rest of the time.

We were in the lead at the time, but only because the Ferrari guys in No2 had pitted before us.
They were seriously quick.

Next year... A different venue perhaps?

Won a few times at Pole Position, it is a good circuit. Not sure how quick I would be in this exulted company though???

Even had first part of my stag evening there.
Didn't win on that occassion, I was seriously nobbled

I think I would be up for the 27th, providing it is in the evening.

PS TVRCC member (in West Yorks) but not been to a meet yet, could be pursuaded to be a NY member, if it helps

Across the valley in Clayton West.

My Emley nickname relates to physical atributes similar to those of a particular freestanding structure nearby. NOT

Funny though, just had an offer accepted on a house in EMLEY
