M1 speed cameras - smart motorway section

Well it’s taken a few years (still drive this route daily) but I got a NIP for passing the Hadecs cameras near Woodhall services (j31-30 southbound) last week.
For doing....... 82mph! No speed limit on the signs!

So an indicated 85.

Was asking for it to be honest. Hopefully you get an awareness course

Useful to know. I keep it pegged under an indicated 80 past the HADECS3 gantries if there's no temp limit set but if the gantry doesn't have a HADECS3 setup on it you can blast past them at any speed you want, even if there's a temp limit set without any fear of a ticket. I speak from personal experience here, not what I heard from a mate of a mate down the pub.
