Key to organising these events is keeping the attendees at a manageable size and don't take the p!ss with the route.
Tearing down the headrow at 90mph is going to attract a lot of attention. We start at the outer ring road and finish there. Hit a few tunnels on the drive round, but its all done in good taste. Importantly I vetted the members to see who they were, there previous threads car etc in case there were any di1ckheads for where going to 'race' or do burnouts. Also, keep the route private until the last minute and away from social media.

I haven't had a chance to arrange any since last time as been working away a lot and any time I have spare need to keep for the family.

Fancy pulling another one together this summer? I'm in a similar situation with working away but I don't mind helping out where I can.

Let me check my diary to see where I am, and also what car I can borrow. Sold my toy as it spent all it's time at Manchester airport car park :-(

Funnily enough, that's exactly where I am right now!
Early one Sunday in the summer would be great. Pull a few local lads together and head out for an hour...

Cheers!
yep sounds good, even if I bring the X3 (its 300bhp but sounds st) and get a passenger ride with someone. Ok, leave it with me. In the meantime PM me so I have your contact details.

It's the weather/morning light that is the blocker at this time of year. Could be a gorgeous winters morning or icy, wet and dark - and we organise these weeks in advance so it's a big gamble. Having seen the TVR get stacked into the tunnel wall a few years ago they tend to be summer only. We don't want cars fishtailing through Leeds as it attracts attention we don't need.

That said a static 'cars and coffee' could be good. I'm snowed over the next few months so my organisational skills won't be available to Q1 next year.
