On Carlinghow Lane in Batley today, a pale green Nissan Prairie 1985 (ish) and a dark brown Reliant Kitten.
Amazing as both are used daily.
That brings back memories. Amazing as both are used daily.
I remember seeing a brown Reliant Kitten most days when my dad worked on Carlinghow Lane in the early 2000s - must be the same one!
A couple of older ones from me:
- Yellow Rover P6 3500 V8 in Menston last Sunday.
- Red R129 Merc 300SL by the White Rose, on a K plate IIRC.
- Dark Orange '98 Mini Cooper Sport at Tingley Roundabout today, looked pristine and even had the original Rover dealer sticker in the back window.

Just remembered one from last Saturday; A GT40 bodyshell on a trailer on the A1079. I assume it was a replica.
Funny as you mention it, i saw a GT40 (which i assumed to be a replica) driving through Middleton on the Wolds (A614) towards the A1079 on Sunday. Looked an absolute peach. Wonder if it was the same one?gretsch-drummer said:
306 Rallye in black past me on the M621 this afternoon. Maybe Mrs Chevron? (*** LOP)
Yes - that was probably Mrs Chev on her way to the gym. People keep on giving her loads of thumbs-up at the moment. I wish values would follow general public appreciation! It’s quite funny that I’m never spotted in my Exige or 911 and she’s spotted every other week in the Rallye! The 306 is such a great looking car still though - really stands out in modern traffic.
