That’ll be a brilliant couple of days, one of my mates will be there in his lovely unrestored white 1965 E-Type. I think they were doing a road run around the moors today.

Thursday evening, spotted a blue Triumph Spitfire just approaching the Oulton M62 intersection from Wakefield. Lovely little thing. The modern car behind discovered why you don't pull right up to a classic car at a traffic light, they can have a tendency to fail to proceed. Or at least, the driver was waving the car behind on anyway. I was on the opposite carriageway and couldn't stop unfortunately. It may possibly have been in convoy with a silver Corvette C3 which rolled up just behind it.

The silver Corvette could have been someone I know. There can't be very many of them about!

Delorean at Huddersfield Starbucks this morning. Also a Cadillac (possibly a series 61) parked in Dalton.

Loads out and about on an early run to the coast today.

Favourites were a blue Ferrari 812GTS by the A1/A64 junction and the white Datsun 240Z I followed by Castle Howard.

Yes mate of mine is part of the organising team, he’s got a batch of early E Types being restored at the moment. Not sure if he’s got a working one yet, but he’s not short of alternates for a ride out.

Passed a very nice convoy (Going the other way) as I was approaching Leyburn this afternoon, which consisted of;

Various Ferraris including an F40 (!!!!), 488 Pista, F12, F8 Tributo
Aston V12 Vantage
Porsche GT3 RS
3 x Lambo of various flavours
Aston DB11 Volante
McLaren 675LT

And bringing up the rear, a rather nice yellow Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport (First one I've ever seen in the flesh)

I know Duncan Brearley had one when he lived on Aberford Rd, not seen it for years though. Come to think of it, that was probably the last one I saw!
