Ha, my first bar job there, many years ago. It used to be one of the most profitable pubs in the Bass group at the time, which meant we got away with a lot (very good free staff meals, some private staff parties, etc). Sundays were a serious money generator (hundreds of covers)

I go there quite often. I actually live half an hour away but my best mate lives half an hour away in the opposite direction so it's a natural meeting point for us.

Well we had breakfast there during the week and it was excellent ... next time we went it was a busy Sunday and the food had run out by 12.00.

The Sunday Lunch was excellent and very busy,I had booked 3 weeks earlier for a table and indeed booked again for next month.

It was a pretty good turn out, mines the red riviera.

I left about midday as I had a never ending list of things to do, but looks like a lot of interesting cars were still arriving a few hours after that.

I was there too!

Black Harley XR1200 with the wife and Gaston our miniature dachshund.

A great venue, just a shame they haven’t stuck a big TV in the cafe for F1 rather then in the restaurant. We planned to watch the race but dog not allowed in that area.
