Right - this shouldn't be too much of a problem for me, but I need to know one or two things.

Firstly, I don't know whether I can get to The Fox in Acomb. Acomb's tricky for me, however

The Mason's Arms on the A59. Is that the one opposite the Postern Gate Wetherspoons? The one that backs onto the river? What with living in York rather than driving round it, I do tend to navigate by landmarks and local road names, so I'm sorry, I'm not entirely sure which road the A59 is! I'll try and check on multimap.

Right, I've checked Multimap and if I'm right, it is the same Mason's Arms I'm thinking of. I'll try and be there for 10AM. I'll wear my York Uni Karting Team T-Shirt so I'll be easy to spot

See you all on Sunday then!

Youll be on your own then

The Masons Arms A59 is about 1 mile short of the A1 off the A59 York to Harrogate road !

Bit too far?

Where do you want picking up?

Should be up for this.

Now, just need to decide whether to go straight there up the A65 through Ilkley, or to catch up with you lot at the Mason's Arms...

Anywhere in York will be fine - just give me a time and a place and I'll be there.

I'll be there, 9.30, Clifford's Tower.

God it sounds like a rendezvous in a spy flick. Do I print this off and burn it now?

is there a Petrol station near Bolton Abbey?

I'm hoping to make it but will be coming over the moors themselves rather than down the A1, all the way from my house without a major road , problem is I'll run out of petrol by the time I get there

cool beavers. It's 100 miles for me btw (assuming I don't get lost)

Might even try and see Butter tubs pass on the way home considering I won't be on the May 1st run.
