Me again!

Cars are filthy at the minute, it's too hot to wash them on the drive in direct sunlight, and certainly too dusty to dry them once I've finished.

Are there any shaded jet wash bays around York?

Preferably one where I can foam, rinse, refoam, wash, rinse, and dry (obviously I'll be taking my own washmitts and drying towels, etc?

I've got two bottles of ONR, but the cars are coating in building dust, so I'd rather not use those. (Yes I know, I just don't trust them/myself!)

Thanks

most hand car washes will let you wash your own car, the one at monk fryston does.

Inner space station on Hull road near B&Q. Has nice shaded individual bays and lots of room.

I couldn't work out if that inner space one was an automatic or not, as I read earlier that it had misjudged where the wheels were and knackered someone's paintwork...

I'll go have a look though, ta.

You have lost me a bit there talking about damaged cars? There is an automatic car wash type thing and separate are multiple jet wash bays. They are the pay per minute type.

OK, ta...

This is the one I read about - https://zroadster.org/threads/well-they-say-bad-th...

Sounds like they have both, althoughts the one you're describing I want, not the automatic...

I wouldn’t of recommended at touchless car wash on the basis of your original criteria. This place is fine for what you want.

Hull Road BP is the best in York.

You can pause the machine so take your time between stages. It does have a timeout so don't leave it paused too long.
