Catalytic Converter Thefts

West Yorks Police are warning shoppers about recent catalytic converter thefts from car parks while you're doing your Xmas shopping.

2 yesterday close to Ikea at Birtsall retail park - Toyota Auris and a Honda Jazz. The scrotes used a trolley jack to get access and were seen driving off in a blue Citroen C4.

I weighed in the secondary cats from my long-sold Z4 that I found in a shed... £47.50 each!

But you have to ask where these are getting weighed in.
Scrappers are mostly taking pics and bank details now so I’d be betting plod have a good idea where these are going.

The ones in ikea car park at birstall were done in a stolen car.
Seems it happens on a regular basis in that area.
One of the cars was a lovely couple who’d come for a ride out and some furniture to have the day ruined and turned into a nightmare.
They did a neat job removing cat.
Unbolted from manifold,cut lambda sensor wire and a nice neat cut through center pipe in about 2 mins in a very public place in full view of cctv.
