ah, but you forgot about the other partner in crime, James.

James? ... JAMES!!!

seriously, if there is only me and Tom on for night bars and clubbing then I might give it a miss (don't worry Tom, I'll make sure the hotel is ok)... I just have too much to get sorted during the day. I have sent a text to JS but not had a reply yet.

JS seems to be M.I.A at the moment, haven't seen him on msn or had replies to text or email. I know he had a 'huge' amount on at work, I'm guess this will be keeping his full attention. Either that or he's found some blonde dollybird and hasn't left the house for a few days.

Unfortunately, it's work that's been occupying my time of late, not "work" of the blonde, leggy kind.

Currently unsure what's going on tomorrow - have MAJOR amount of stuff to get done in the office (and this is major by my usual 16-hours-per-day standards). If I do come up, chances are it'll be later on so I can get a full day at work on Saturday. Anyone know of any cheapish hotel rooms going, etc. as I don't want to put Gemini out if he's already in town when I arrive, then again if I stumble in at 4am, and again if I leave to get back to work really early? (although that would mean finding somewhere other than Nexus that's both open past 11, and lets us in! An "evening session" in Kennedy's is an option, I suppose??) Will hopefully have a better idea this evening.

Urgh. Need a holiday...

James - just sent you a text.

Me and Tom have two doubles currently booked, but they do have a family room with twin plus a couple of sofa beds i think that i could swap to. It will cost us £50 each inc full brekka instead of £65 for my double.

Let me know... if you haven't buggered off to Japan that is

Just got back from a dept night out, (Bowling plus Japanese), which was planned. However, after the meal, we got a call from another group of co workers who were at a leaving do. Several later, I was very
To cut a long story short, my Liver isn't talking to me anymore, so I may have to bow out of this event.
I'll post tomorrow, in the morn and let you know if I have recovered.

Tonight will mostly involve slaving over a hot keyboard preparing presentations (along with the obligatory bottles of finest fermented grape produce). Saturday night will mostly involve things I won't be able to remember come Sunday night. I.e. I'll be up in York for about 5pm.

Al's got the hotel sorted, too, so no need to inflict my snoring/late arrival(s) on you, Gemini. Cheers, though.

That's what they'll be saying come Sunday, Tom, let us not jump the gun.

Al, Tom, either of you coming in "fancy" cars? Am considering the 206/Explorer to save putting another few hundred on the Sofa (and the petrol costs - although the Explorer's similarly only good for about 14MPG ); if tomorrow's purely about drinking, the Pug'll suffice...

So how you going to go about pulling, er, I mean conversing with random young ladies with Sylv there then Stu? This should be interesting

I can just imagine it

James, not planning on taking the Ferrari. No point really.... although I've said that before. Aiming to be at hotel for 5-ish then we just have to track down the drunken beer stained real ale mob!
