So the point of this walk was to be "different" and use the famous wall as a guide.
Now its turned into any old night out at trendy bars in York
So us 4 beer stained soaks will meet you young bucks about 6ish!
but, but, all the women go shopping during the day.
Ah Al, my young padawan, you're clearly not up to speed with master Gemini's Jedi trickery...
If you're out in the day on some shandy swilling this-isn't-real-man-drinking meander between derelict hostelries, you get to see all the women out doing their shopping. Then, come the night, you know the ones to spot and say "I'm sure I saw you out in town earlier today - is that dress new? It looks fantastic on you..."
Oh, and Al, that ladyfriend of yours from last night hasn't called me yet... give her a nudge would you...
Am also going commando today and there is little improvement today after the curry
Thanks for a great afternoon out. Good beer, good company and a walk too.
Apparently it was my fault that Norbert could not find the curry house and that thee was no table waiting for her when she got there. Looks like it might have had the right effect though.

the minimax express has vacated the parking lot, headed sheffield and all points north
I understand the Ginetta made it to York and safely back to Nottingham, but there are various parts of the M1 and A64 slightly more moist than before and littered with the shattered and burnt out remains of 30 amp fuses..
Good to catch up with you all again, and at least see some of the wall, plus various people climbing up/falling off it.
Great to meet you all, for a short while. Thanks to Rich for organising. Will definitely have to make the whole day out next time, judging by the state of inhebriation of some and apparent lack of hangover by others!!!
Got back home half past ten last night with the trailer to load up for racing today (just back and knackered, physically, emotionally and financially - again)!
No report from Al yet? Will be checking on my return from holiday.
Cheers agian, Stu

Mssrs Innes, Bates & Greenwood shall remain tight lipped about the nights event's... suffice to say I took a tenner off Tom with the help of a certain lady, and well worth it it was too the "cricket" score was lost track of somewhere in the mid-thirties and f' me that kebab chilli sauce was hot! ... oh, and who was the Chimaera kerb crawling through the centre of York at 2am in the morning? Just one thing to say to you pal...
