Not definate yet for me. I'm back at work on Wednesday and hoping they have news of my transfer. Once I know about that I will have a better idea of my schedule.
Will update as soon as I can.

I did a rough list of those who expressed an interest, I didnt get a single confirmation from anyone.

Ok. For people to commit, they are going to need:
(a) approximate cost (we have this as BG gave us a rough figure - £350)
(b) dates - I presume we'll go for the week, so this means 6th-12th June? Still unconfirmed by the ACO I think.

(c) We'll also need a duty roster, we can't expect anyone to do all the work by themselves. Before we even start, we are going to need to plan:
1. Logistics - Where we store the bus and do the build work
2. Project Funding - Getting the money together to buy the bus, and a kitty to get the materials
3. Project Planning - Weekends when we can do work on the bus - this is not a trivial project, and is going to need a bit of elbow grease, and we'll all have opinions on various aspects of the design/implementation so we at least need a couple of weekends at the start of the build when we can all get together and start planning - Bloody good excuse for a few p**s ups as well.

Based on (a) and (b) ((c) is a bit of an unknown yet)then, in true PH style, add your own name to the list at the bottom if you are in (BG/minimax, I have taken the liberty of adding your names):

BG, any comments on when you could secure a bus?

An open top one would be ing awesome, but they are expensive to buy I think.

Le Mans bloke: "So what have you guys come down in then?"

Us: "Oh, an aluminium bodied Bristol Spider"

Bus dead? Bugger - I was looking forward to seeing it in La Sarthe!

Anyway - when are you all heading down? Our 'little' group is on the Wednesday evening Portsmouth-Cherbourg ferry. Shoud be in Beausejour by Thursday lunchtime

Were you drunk when you thought about this? I've seen so many of these broken down on roads its untrue. Driving it down would be woeful as well.

Still it would be a fantastic atmosphere.
