Went to a few of them early Tunnel runs, The White Bear car park at Tingley ( now gone) or the B&Q car park near Elland road. Batleyboy use to organize them, but I think he had a fall out with PH over a charity car event he was doing , PH classed it as advertising…. so they butted heads !

A bit early for me, and the current motor is woefully underpowered.
What’s the current motor? Many years back in the week between Christmas and New Year, PlasticPig on here organised a ‘snotters run’, where everyone was encouraged to turn up in the biggest heap of junk they owned.
It was quite a laugh actually, and made a nice change from the usual sea of TVRs, Elise’s and Porsches.

I'd be up for it too except I think covids got me. It's not much worse than a nasty cold so far but regardless of it being irresponsible to mix the last thing I feel like doing is driving for pleasure!

Nobody ever put restrictions on the type of car which could attend! I think it's the "dawn" part which is putting people off
To some extent that is true. Fond memories of taking a X308 XJR on a run years back. Doubt my 9-3 would be able to keep up with modern exoticaMy snotter is actually quick by snotter standards, and has better brakes than my half decent car (weirdly). But it's shameful in pretty much every other way.
Could we have a whatever you turn up in dawn raid?!
Me and Mrs Bear still talk about this DR just gone.
Properly brilliant, memorable, fun.
Not a bloody chance she'd come along in my snotter though.
Edit: I'd also like some kind of terms of reference drawing up if an XJR is a snotter.

An XJR, (former Performance Car / EVO car of the year finalist), is hardly a ‘snotter’ by any stretch of the imagination. Far from it in fact.105.4 said:
I’d definitely be up for a ‘snotters run’, as I have plenty of snotters on my driveway to choose from
The only PH worthy vehicle on my drive, (Renault Kangoo van 197), is in need of a full mechanical and electrical rebuild.
To be fair, I would probably be far more excited to look at your Kangoo with engine transplant than I would at most modern cars! The only PH worthy vehicle on my drive, (Renault Kangoo van 197), is in need of a full mechanical and electrical rebuild.
I imagine it is a lot of fun to drive too. I have said before that a tuned one of these would sit very nicely at my daydream holiday home in rural France!

Imagine being propelled down the road at a rate of knots in a very noisy, very stiff, baked bean can, and you’d be quite close !I imagine it is a lot of fun to drive too. I have said before that a tuned one of these would sit very nicely at my daydream holiday home in rural France!
Ground clearance can be an issue too.
