Morning all!

Can’t find my original post so thought it best to update this one.

After giving up on Toyota I spent the summer mooching around in a TVR Chimaera which I’ve just swapped for a C5 Corvette, so the bug is well and truly back.

I’ve been looking for locations now that Damon’s is out of the window and one potential candidate is Cusworth Hall just off the A1 nr Doncaster. It’s further out of Sheffield than I would have liked but I’m hoping a more ‘central’ location in Yorkshire will encourage a few down from West Yorkshire.

I went up their for a recce at the weekend and it’s got a large, flat car park (the larger side is on grass separate from the main car park), it is a pay and display but as it’s council run it’s cheap. There’s also the excellent Butlers tea room and equally as fantastic Brewhouse bar.

My long term plan would be to speak to the council about getting access to the front the of the hall for parking but for now I thought I’d put the word out to see if someone else would mind taking a second set of eyes on the location and provide some feedback?

What day/dates you thinking? My car will be going in the dehumidified garage over winter and the dark nights are already with us.
There's regular decent meets at the motorist hub every weekend and also midweek within an hour of Sheffield but I think there's still room for something closer to us if the venue and timing are right.

Hi all!

Thought I'd give the thread a bit of a bump.

Did you ever find a venue for some more meets?

It's a shame that the old post office near the Yorkshire sculpture park isn't available. I know there used to be quite a few meets there at one point in time, but it ended up with a bit of a reputation.
