Al - Is the 911 experience a good one?

Not sure yet Rich - it is a long long way sort of the Ferrari in every respect, but then I was expecting it to be to be honest ... and it doesn't have the same grin factor as a thumping great 5.0 V8 up front as the Griff, but, I have only driven it in anger once and it performed superbly so I'm prepared to give it some time yet

I know its each to their own but a lot depends on what your car is. For me it was, and still is, most definately a 911. It puts a grin on my face EVERY time. I can't comment on what a TVR or a Ferrari is like in comparison as I have never been in or driven one, but I bet they are fantstic as well. I hope you get some pleasure out of your Porsche Al. And I'm sure you will though perhaps in a diferent way!

Does this mean you're gonna be drooling until next year for one Rich? Sounds like you have a high pain threshold

Well fu6k me! That car is unbelievable! I have never been in a car that can spin it's wheels on a very dry road, in a straight line, hovering around the legal limit officer , in third gear! The power is astonishing! It's one of those, you have to see it to believe it scenario's - it's plain awesome. And the spooky thing is, your Granny could do the shopping in it!

Hats off JWB, that is one mother of a car.

So, will a set of those turbo's fit on mine - somehow? there must be room for them...........
