Can anyone recommend a decent garage in the Leeds area to refill / regas the aircon for my BMW 6 series?

Thanks

I like ATS, used them twice. Once all good and filled, aircon worked again, 2nd time different car already full and didn't charge me, was just a faulty sensor

Have a look on Groupon. ATS have an offer through them on recharge. Had my Disco done last week.

Agre about ATS.

I've been to the Cross Green branch twice and it's nice and quiet there. Friendly service. I think one time was during a Spring Bank Holiday or a Sunday, so you should hopefully be able to find they're open.

I've also used Kwik Fit in Seacroft on York Road (by Shell).

At both places, they won't charge if the AC doesn't work as they'll just extract the refrigerant back out and into their system.

Decently priced as well.

I’ve used kwik fit on regent street twice. If the air con doesn’t work after you get a refund but they don’t diagnose the problem.

Has anyone got any recommendations for someone who can diagnose and repair air con? I used to to use Stuart from Cooldrive but I’m guessing he’s stopped now as he doesn’t seem to answer the phone.

Last air con issue I had, I diagnosed with an OBD scan tool which flagged up a sensor. Ordered the part and found a tame mechanic on the owner forum to fit it for me!

I've been trying to get hold of Stuart as well. Shame if he's packed it in, but it would be better if he took his Facebook site down and then we knew for sure.

Stuart serviced my AC about 6 weeks ago. I think he is just busy. Especially with the recent heat. Drop him a line and wait.

He did my Caddy last week. He is mega busy going all over Yorkshire so I had to wait a few weeks for him to fit me in. To get hold of him, text him and he will get back to you usually within 48 hours.

Places like ATS and Kwik Fit don't use the manifold needed to ensure the system and components are working properly. Using the manifold and he was able to pinpoint a blockage in my DB7's aircon.
