T-g

Given your ferry times I think we'll be well on the way by the time you get to France on the Wednesday, but we can discuss nearer the time.

Right those of you who voted have voted for the speedferries, so I am now booking:

SpeedFerries
============
dep 14.6.2006 14:10 Dover -> Boulogne arr 14.6.2006 16:00
ret 19.6.2006 20:25 Boulogne -> Dover arr 14.6.2006 20:10

I can't afford to book for you all, so I am afraid you are going to have to book the ferries yourself. Can you all let me know when you have booked and I'll get a travelling itinerary sorted out.

fantastic - thats the exact ferry i chose last week - i shall make the booking.

Does anyone know where i can get a ticket for Houx? there seems to be plenty for Houx Annexe on ebay etc. Price not a big issue.

I can imagine it is a bit of a struggle. Just keep looking, also keep an eye on the Le Mans forum, you never know if someone will end up with a spare one and offload it through there.

If you can't get into to Houx, get yourself onto Houx Annexe and you are more than welcome to join us for food/drinks/chatting etc - just chip in with cooking/washing/shopping - you only need your tent for sleeping and you won't be doing much of that!

dep 14.6.2006 14:10 Dover -> Boulogne arr 14.6.2006 16:00

Is it worth starting a names list, so we know who is on the convoi?

OK peeps. All of you who paid deposits, it's crunch time - YHM.

The balance is due by Friday 24th and the club office policy is that if it isn't paid by then, they will automatically offer the tickets to a member on the reserve list!

Do we want some t-shirts producing?

Liz is a graphic designer and has been thinking about setting up a t-shirt business for a little while.

Bob,
Yes, we definitely need some gear. I'll be in touch...

What we have
We have got 8 camping spaces in Houx, and we are in the Sommer grandstand (no.16 on this map: ACO Map on the start/finish straight near the pit exit).

Rog, I didn't order you and John any Grandstand tickets as I must have got confused with the order, but I will phone the club office to see if they have anymore with us.

T-Shirts
sounds like a great idea - I am sure there'll be some PH ones soon (i wear last years whenever I get a chance), but if we could come up with a specific "North Yorks TVRCC on tour" design that'd be cool - could you get some design ideas and costs together Jerry?

I'll do some begging. I'll ask her to base it on 16 shirts to try and get an idea of costs.

Costings are now in should be about £15 a shirt. She's working on some design ideas at the present. Although any thoughts and inspirational concepts considered.

I know the cars maybe from the wrong side of the pennines, but if any roses are going to be on T-shirts or cars, they'll be WHITE!
