IIRC my "war of the roses" history (why did they fight over the christmas sweets by the way? ), the pink "tudor rose" was the new-labour-esque "third way" combination of Red and White roses when we kissed and made up across the pennines!

Technically the right side of the penines in my map is Yorkshire. Therefore, the other lot must be the wrong side of the penines. Stands to reason.
