East Yorks pub meet - 1st Thursday of the month

I took a few. Just sorting some fresh webspace from a friendly hosting guy, then I'll put all the pics up from each monthly meet.

Great turn out and some very nice machinery!

It was nice meeting some new faces and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

The convoy was good fun, especially using all my skill and each of the modest 120 ponies I had trying to keep in touch with following Phoenix and Rik.

I'll pop to the pub before the next meeting and make sure they're still okay now that the group is getting bigger. I'd like to see them wondering how on one day a month their soft drink sales go through the roof though!

Al's ferrari was still the loudest thing around.

Good to see Al...Ease finally come too.

The 'twin' MR2 moment through the forest was funny and bizarre too.

Right, back to work. (repeats to himself: need more power, need more power, need more...)

PS: Just when I get my car sorted; new shiny wheels, all black exterior trim re-furbed and a nice coat of polish and wax, Al and Ron decide to both bring their freshly detailed motors down. They did look good though!

Have you always had the private reg Tom?

Sorry , but he drove off somewhere when I was going round taking pictures. I'll make a point of it next time if he comes again.

I also couldn't get any clear ones of Simon's wedge, but it is in the background of one of the 'rari shots.

The plate came with the car and is up for sale but not bothered if it goes or not as it doesn't match my name or anything. The car is a B reg though so it retains the correct age and I think it makes the car stand out a bit with it on.
