Sounds as if I missed a good day out but when I was putting the wheels back on the S disaster struck one of the locking nuts sheared, looks as if the stud was a bit too long for it. so there I am with a piece stuck in the key and a broken nut. Tried to poke the bit out of the socket, manages to do this but also inserted screwdriver into palm of hand. Good news is i manged to get the broken nut off by driving a whitworth socket onto it and it came off with a ratchet.

Hi All.

Good to meet you guys.
Where did you go after the Ladybower?

Watched you all set off towards the Fox House Inn..but when I got there, no TVR's to be seen. I assume you went on to another pub due to it being full. Anyway, had to go out mid afternoon anyway.

See you all again.

Nice to meet you briefly in the Ladybower Kojak.

Well we eventually managed to make it to the Fox House pub, after a twenty mile blatt around Castleton, up Winnats pass, and Peak forest, plus getting lost in a muddy nature reserve...Lol!

Special thanks to AceT for letting Mrs. Wacky Racer have a ride in her speed machine...

Thanks to all for a great day...see you again soon...

Ok, in what has to be a major miracle, I've managed to post some pics of today's run (I usually never manage to get around to it).

The pics can be found here

What a FAAAANTASTIC run out

Thank you to Dr Bert, Nubbin, Ed, Chim Girl and anyone else who helped with the organisation.

Thank you to Judas for showing me just how well a Tuscan does handle under severe braking and blind panic (seriously, a normal car would have never made it)

Thank you to Nubbin for treating me to the sound of a that glorious engine for an hour of fairly spirited driving up hill and down dale (wave your arms in the air like you jus don't care )

And thank you to the lot of you for the aching cheek muscles from the massive grin that I just could not get off my face.

Great weather, great scenery great sound track.

I'll second all of that!! Glad you liked the exhaust - the speed 6 does have a nice sound, even if it isn't a V8!! Your Griff sounded great, too, as did almost every car I could hear -

It's not bad burning through glorious countryside at high speed in a convoy of 12 TVR's is it?! Looking forward to the next one....

PS Jo/Adam - where is that photo you promised me?
