Well i said i'd get back to you when i got a car. I dropped the 106 rallye idea and went for this Clio 1.8 16v. Yes i know the wheels are more show than go but thats the reason i have a set of 15" ones in the garage for when i want to take it out in anger. Although my chances of keeping up with you lot in tvr's and ferrari's on the straights is very slim!

Missed the last the last one, but I should be able to nip out one morning if I get up before Mrs B realises I’m gone.
Steve the reality is you’ll probably much quicker cross country than we are this time of year, its so b****y slippery out there, good fun though
Best not go down the A1 though, I get lost.
Cheers,
Simon.

So is the 12th any good for anyone? If so, mail me and (depending on who is where) we'll arrange a siutable rp & route - at the crack of ducks fart of course.
The Z is in need of a good run out, but if you're worried about keeping up, I could take the X
Al, compliments like that will only lead to embarrassment for me , still, I could get that copy of that 'Need For Speed' vid you did on the return run?????

Hi James,
Not bad start to life of adrenaline highs.
My first car (assuming it is your first) was a MK 1, 1100cc Ford Escort. It wasn’t until a year later that I realised sports cars were the way to go and so I bought a MK III Triumph Spitfire with a whopping 1300cc motor.
Cheers,
Simon.

simon,
yeh itl be my first car, ive got the insurance sorted for when i pass my test but havnt found anyone that'll do it for a provisional license yet.
looking forward to coming on a few of these run outs next year but dont think il be able to keep up with many of you after the initial acceleration, il probably be on more level par with steve
as for the mk1 escort..brilliant cars, looked into getting one with a full rally kit but it would have turned out to expensive for me
James
PS i take it im missing something about the "ducks fart run"?

... the 110mph corners however will be no problem
Steve and Docter Fox... to be honest, you would both have a problem with the pace if the last one is anything to go by (the fastest run I have been on by a long way) and I would be worried if someone was pushing their car to the very limits to try and keep up... however... nothing to stop you coming along as a passenger. I would hazard a guess that at least three of the cars will have a spare seat.
