Old thread, thought it was someone saying they had got cought...... Anyone know if they enforce by cameras?

I used the A63 coming in off the M1 this morning, due to fecked up traffic, and they have a several sections for 2+ occupancy and anything else apart from cars, so lorries can use it too. Doesn't look like there are any cameras, but how would they no my child seat is empty????

I don't think there's ever been any kind of enforcement on the M606/62 slip. We've got a yard on Euroway and we all still use the 2+ lane onto the M62 even though the drainage works are now finished (the reason for suspending the ban). Never had a ticket or anything and there are no enforcement cameras to be seen. It's completely retarded to force people down to the lights when going on the M62E anyway. If it was about reducing congestion then it should've been opened to all right from the start as the peak time queues there were much reduced when the ban was suspended and as a trucker myself I can tell you that it's much better to use the slip, keep some momentum going and trundle up the hill at 30-40 with a fully loaded trailer than it is to use the lights and crawl up the hill at 20-25mph until it levels out with the M62.

They've seen sense and are doing away with it permanently.

Busted biggrin

Although I genuinely thought it had be scraped years a go as I always go in it, if we're talking about the left hand side continuous slip road on to the M62 from the M606 however it's usually at 5am on a Monday morning which might make a difference.
